About
Amanda Lux in an artist, healer, teacher, podcaster, author and nature lover. Although she was born in Seattle and was raised in Bellingham, Amanda searched for “home” for over a decade living in Tucson, Berkeley, New York, Spain, and L.A. before moving back to the PNW.
Amanda settled in Olympia in 2005 where she raised her two children while running a private healing practice offering polarity therapy, cranial sacral therapy, hypnotherapy, coaching and massage.
She currently divides her time between offering sessions, teaching classes in energy medicine online and in-person, podcasting, writing, and painting away in her art studio, “the Birdhouse” which is a small one room cabin nestled into the gloom and glisten of the drippy forested shores of Steamboat Island.
Her current body of work featured in this years Art's Walk is an abstract collection based on meditations of home and the infinite beauty within the dreary called, "Silver Linings." You can see them currently on display at Fusion the Integrated Body in downtown Olympia. Come by and dance 5Rhythms there to see them in motion.
